Terms of Service
Effective October 28, 2026 · RepairLetter is operated by R3 Consulting, LLC
Please read these terms carefully. They explain what RepairLetter does, what it does not do, and the responsibilities that come with using it.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and R3 Consulting, LLC ("we", "us"), which operates RepairLetter. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use RepairLetter on behalf of a brokerage or company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. What RepairLetter does
RepairLetter helps real estate professionals turn a home inspection report into draft findings, a buyer summary, and a repair request. All output is a draft for you to review and edit. RepairLetter is not a home inspection, an appraisal, a contractor estimate, or legal, financial, or real estate advice, and it never sends documents to anyone on your behalf.
3. Your responsibilities
- Review, verify, and edit every document before sharing it. You are solely responsible for what you send to buyers, sellers, or other parties.
- Check findings against the original inspection report and meet your own contract deadlines.
- Only upload reports and information you have the right to share, and comply with applicable laws, brokerage rules, and professional obligations.
- Keep your login secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to mislead or defraud anyone.
- Upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or bypass usage limits.
- Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
5. Plans, billing, and trials
Free trial accounts include a limited number of reports. Paid plans, when offered, are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices and included report limits are shown at checkout and may change with notice. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and unused reports do not roll over.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the reports and information you upload and the documents you create. You give us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and support the service, including sending it to our AI and hosting providers. Uploaded PDFs are deleted 30 days after upload as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Our property
The RepairLetter service, software, design, and branding belong to us and our licensors. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated content may be incomplete or incorrect. Cost ranges are rough estimates for planning only. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST COMMISSIONS, LOST DEALS, MISSED DEADLINES, PROPERTY DEFECTS, REPAIR COSTS, OR DATA LOSS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ITS OUTPUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your content, your use of the service or its output, documents you send to others, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, create risk for us or others, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which R3 Consulting, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class action, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
